No movement to and from Bengaluru city unless an emergency till July 22

Bengaluru, 16 July 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: With the ongoing seven-day lockdown in Bengaluru city, several concerns have been raised by residents over movement of people between districts. As per Karnataka Chief Secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar’s order dated July 13, inter-district movement to and from Bengaluru Urban is prohibited till 5 am on July 22. The Bengaluru Police have installed checkpoints near toll gates at Anekal, Devanahalli and KR Puram to stop the movement of passengers via road. Movement of people via Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation and Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation Buses are prohibited during the lockdown period unless in cases of emergency. Bengaluru man killed in scuffle with teen daughter, she says it was in self defence

Bengaluru, 25 July 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: Bengaluru police produced a 15-year-old girl before a Child Welfare Committee and sent her to the Government Children's Home after her father was killed when he got into a scuffle with her on Thursday morning. Her father, a 46-year-old man, died after he was fatally injured by his daughter at their apartment in Mico Layout in the city.  Police officials told TNM that the teen stated she was trying to protect herself from her father who came at her with a pair of scissors.
