Bantwal: 77-year-old temple priest ends life by jumping into well

Bantwal, 04 Dec 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: In a tragic incident which happened at Vittal in the taluk on Monday December 3, the priest of a temple jumped into well and ended his life.

Vasudeva Kedilaya (77), who was serving as priest of Lord Panchalingeshwara temple, Vittal had retired several years back.

It is said that Kedilaya was suffering from certain chronic health problems. Frustrated by the sufferings, he is said to have jumped into a well near his home.

A case about this incident was registered in Vittal police station.
