Here in Bengaluru, a homemaker who was looking to earn some money doing a part-time job at home ended up losing a sum of Rs 59,000 before realising that she had been taken for a ride. The victim, Saraswati, residing in Kadugodi had contacted the conman, who identified himself as Sunil Sharma to inquire about an advertisement regarding a work from home option that had featured on a national newspaper. Saraswathi was asked to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,150 to apply for the job that promised a monthly salary in the range of Rs 15,000-40,000. After this sum was deposited in a bank account, Sunil called Saraswati to confirm its receipt and asked her to deposit further Rs 59,200 towards insurance
