Muslim man, his family convert to Hinduism for “proper” investigation into his son’s death
NEW DELHI, 03 Oct 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: A Muslim man along with his family converted to Hinduism in a hope of proper investigation in his son’s death. According to the report published in DC, Akhtar along with 12 members of his family converted to Hinduisms . He took this decision after police reportedly came to a conclusion that his son had committed suicide. It may be mentioned that he is a resident of Badarkha Village, Baghpat District. Earlier, the body of his son, Gulhasan was found hanging. It is also reported that he has submitted an affidavit to the area Sub-Divisional Magistrate declaring that they converted to Hinduism voluntarily. Shah Faesal, IAS officer who never shied from attacking the government
New Delhi, 10 Jan 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Shah Faesal, the Kashmiri Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer on Wednesday had quit the civil service to protest against unabated killings in Jammu and Kashmir and against the marginalization of Indian Muslims by Hindutva forces, “reducing them to second class citizens”. He made the announcement on his Twitter page as news of his decision spread. “To protest unabated killings in Kashmir and the absence of any credible political initiative from Union government, I have decided to resign from IAS. Kashmiri lives matter,” he said. He was appointed the director of school education in the Kashmir Valley. Petrol touches Rs 70-mark in Delhi for first time in 2019
New Delhi, 14 Jan 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, fuel prices on Monday continued to witness an upward trend with petrol and diesel being sold at Rs 70.13 and Rs 64.18 per litre respectively in the national capital. This is the first time that fuel prices reached Rs 70-mark in the year 2019. While petrol price witnessed a hike of 38 paise, diesel got costlier by 49 paise in Delhi.
