CM Kumaraswamy turns emotional again, says he is alive to serve people
Bengaluru, 27 Oct 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: Making an emotional appeal to voters in the party stronghold of Mandya, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy Friday said he is living to serve the people of the state, who are his biggest asset. Hitting out at the BJP for repeated attacks on his government, Kumaraswamy said the power that he enjoys is by the grace of god and support of Congress MLAs and only they have the strength to take it back. "I had to go to hospital (because of ill health) day before yesterday. I won't say what was the reason, but the day I betray my people, even though I'm alive I'm like dead," he said. Three killed in two separate road accidents in Bhatkal on Wednesday
Bhatkal, 13 Feb 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: In two different road accidents reported in Bhatkal on Wednesday, three people lost their lives, while two kids have been reported to have sustained serious injuries and are being treated at a Manipal hospital. In the first accident, a 78 year-old bicycle borne man, died after being hit by a crane, near Bhatkal telephone exchange office. The deceased in the accident was identified as Ramesh Prabhu, of Mutalli locality of Bhatkal Taluka. Reports added that the 78 year old died of heart attack after being hit by the crane. In another tragic accident, a brother and a sister died on the spot, after their two-wheeler was run down by a local passenger tempo at Murdeshwar, when they along with two kids were on their way towards Bhatkal from Manki. Udupi: Migrant labor found murdered
Udupi, 10 Mar 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: A dead body of a migrant worker was found murdered on Sunday near Beedinagudde Maidan in Udupi, early in the morning. The identification process of the body was underway as the city police had reached the spot and are investigating the case. Reports suggest that one person has been taken into police custody in this regard and is being interrogated. It was learned that a quarrel between the workers might have resulted in the murder.
