IMA scam: CBI files chargesheet
Bengaluru, 08 Sep 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), who has taken over the investigation into the multi-crore Ponzi scheme has filed first stage chargesheet of 1,000 pages in the court on Saturday September 7. The CBI officials filed the chargesheet in the CCH court here. The CBI has taken over the investigation into the multi-crore ponzi scheme run by Karnataka-based I-Monetary Advisory (IMA) and its group entities which allegedly duped lakhs of people promising higher returns using Islamic ways of investment. The agency has booked the company and alleged mastermind and managing director Mansoor Khan, besides 24 other individuals and four sister concerns of the IMA, they said. No bursting of crackers between 10 pm and 6 am: PCB
Mangaluru, 23 Oct 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: With Deepavali fast on approach, the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has urged people to not to burst crackers from 10 pm in the night to 6 am in the morning. In a press release issued by the Pollution Control Board has stated that the people must make use of crackers which are more environment friendly and also those, which do not increase noise pollution. Bengaluru, 28 Oct 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Opposition leader Siddaramaiah on Monday expressed unhappiness against senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar for holding JD(S) flag during the rally. DK Shivakumar, who was released on bail from a Delhi prison in a money laundering case landed at the city airport on Saturday, October 26 afternoon. His own support base in parts of old Mysuru region of Bengaluru Rural, Ramanagara, Mandya and neighbouring areas was greeted by supporters with flowers, crackers and a mammoth apple garland upon his arrival.
