Cops arrest duo for transporting stolen cattle in autorickshaw

Mangaluru, 12 May 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: Bajpe Police have arrested two men on the charges of  unauthorisedly transporting three cows in a inhuman way in an autorickshaw. It has been alleged that the cows were stolen from elsewhere and crammed in the autorickshaw. The arrest was made near Kompadavu.

Those arrested are Siddiqulla Akbar (32) and Mohammad Irfan (27). They had also stuffed clothes inside the mouth of the cows.

Meanwhile, four others who were assisting as escorts to the  autorickshaw in which the cows were being transported, have managed to give the cops a slip. They have been identified as Nisar, Ismail, Akhil  and Shanker.
