Free Syrian Army ready for potential new operation

AFRIN, 07 Oct 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: The Free Syrian Army (FSA), which took part in operations Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch along with the Turkish Armed Forces, has completed preparations for a potential military operation in east of Euphrates. Anadolu Agency footage showed on Sunday the military exercises and preparations of 2,000 FSA-affiliated Al-Hamza division and Suleyman Shah group members in the military training areas in Syria's Afrin district, which was cleared from YPG/PKK terrorist organization. Al-Hamza division commander Sayf Abu Bakr told Anadolu Agency that the completed military training was conducted within scope of a possible operation east of the Euphrates River in Syria, occupied by the YPG/PKK terrorist organization. Regime, Russian raids kill 8 civilians in Syria's Idlib

IDLIB, 06 Nov 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: At least eight civilians were killed and more than 10 others wounded in air strikes launched by Syrian regime and Russian forces on civilian residencies in the Idlib de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria, the Syrian civil defense agency (White Helmets) said. The Wednesday attacks were waged on Syrian residential district of Jisr Al-Shughur and the village of Sanhara in the western Idlib province, according to White Helmets. Civil defense teams launched search and rescue operation following the airstrikes. The death toll from the Russian airstrikes on the de-escalation zone Idlib has mounted to more than 20 over the past week. Syria: 21,000 civilians flee attacks in Idlib in a day

IDLIB, 27 Jan 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: The intense attacks of Assad regime and its allies forced some 21,000 civilians to flee their homes in Idilb, a de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria, over the last 24 hours, according to sources on the ground.  Mohammad Hallaj, director of Syria's Response Coordination Group, said the forced migration gained momentum in Eriha and Jabal Zawiya regions of Idlib due to intensified attacks. The attacks by the Assad army, composed of regime forces and Iranian-backed terror groups, and Russian strikes stand as the main reasons behind the forced migration.
