Azamgarh : SIMI’s ex-president Shahid Badar Falahi arrested

New Delhi, 07 Sep 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Dr. Shahid Badar Falahi , ex president of  Students Islamic Movement of India was arrested at 8 pm from his native village Manchobha in Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Umair Shahid , the son of Shahid Badar Falahi told  Muslim Mirror that his father has been arrested  at 8pm by Gujarat Police from his house on Thursday. A Gujarat court had issued a warrant against Badr in 2012 in connection with a case under sections 353 (criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 143 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code. Govt not telling truth on Kashmir: Owaisi

New Dehli, 01 Oct 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday stated that the Union government was not telling truth on the situation in Kashmir and termed the situation in the region as ‘an undeclared emergency’. Addressing a press conference, Owaisi stated, “The Centre is not telling truth on Kashmir. If they are saying the truth then why is there an undeclared emergency in Kashmir? Muslim side denies judge’s 1886 observation favours Hindus

New Delhi, 17 Oct 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: The Muslim side, on the last day of hearings in the Ayodhya title dispute on Wednesday, refuted the Hindu side’s claim that the observation of a District Judge in 1886 was in their favour. Senior counsel Rajeev Dhavan, appearing for Muslim side, contended before the five-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, that counsel of the Hindu side wrongly relied on the decision of the District Judge on March 18, 1886, to indicate the title was not denied by the judge by “making an observation it was too late to go into the issue”. Dhavan submitted the fact remains that the Commissioner on November 1, 1886, specifically decided the Hindus had no title and that they only had a prescriptive title.
