New Delhi, 31 Dec 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: The Bharatiya Janata Party, which took ‘Shaheen Bagh shooter’ Kapil Gujjar in its fold, has expelled him from party within hours. He had joined the saffron party in the morning of Wednesday. The news of his sacking came in the evening. In an apparent damage control after media reports highlighted his past, the party said it did not know of his antecedents when he joined the party earlier in the day. “Kapil Gujjar was among some people who were inducted into the party from the Bahujan Samaj Party. We had no idea of his involvement in the controversial Shaheen Bagh incident. Nashik Hospital Horror: 22 Covid Patients Die Due to Oxygen Leak
New Delhi, 22 Apr 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: In a horrific incident, at least 22 Covid-19 patients died on ventilators in a Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) hospital after an abrupt drop in pressure due to leakage in the oxygen supplies, officials said. The invisible tragedy took place in the Dr. Zakir Hussain Hospital run by the Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled NMC, which is among the biggest civic bodies and one of the worst Covid-19 hotspots in the state. Following certain technical issues which caused a variation in the pressure of the oxygen being administered in the ward, the 22 patients gasped for breath and succumbed on the ventilator beds. New Delhi, 22 May 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: All India Muslim Personal Law Board Secretary Zafaryab Jilani has been hospitalised after he suffered a brain haemorrhage. Reports reaching from Lucknow said Jeelani has been admitted to the city’s Medanta Hospital. Jilani, a former additional advocate general, is also convener of Babri Masjid Action Committee.
