AIMPLB secretary Zafaryab Jilani hospitalised after brain stroke

New Delhi, 22 May 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: All India Muslim Personal Law Board Secretary Zafaryab Jilani has been hospitalised after he suffered a brain haemorrhage.

Reports reaching from Lucknow said Jeelani has been admitted to the city’s Medanta Hospital.

Jilani, a former additional advocate general, is also convener of Babri Masjid Action Committee.

He slipped and fell down on the floor wet from rains outside his office on Thursday evening and sustained head injuries. “After primary treatment, the doctors said he had suffered a brain haemorrhage. He is still unconscious,” PTI quoted his son Nazam Zafaryab as saying.
