Mandya: Rtd Muslim teacher renovates four dilapidated temples
Bengaluru, 25 Nov 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: India is a country of diversity and we often see many instances where people of different religions come together for a great cause. When there are many historical temples at the stage of extinction, Mohammed Kaleemulla, a retired high school teacher is working hard towards the renovation of the temples. He has so far renovated 4 historical temples in Mandya district. Mohammed, who is also a member of Karnataka Itihasa Acadamy, spends a lot of time in searching such temples that are in need of renovation. He has so far helped in renovating temples from the Krisnadevaraya period, Machalaghatta Ishwara Temple and 2 other temples dedicated to Chennakeshava. 3 killed, 4 injured in road mishap
Belagavi, 18 Jan 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: In a tragic incident, three persons including two from a family killed and four others sustained injuries in an accident that took place in Bailhongal Taluk on Friday, January 17. The deceased have been identified as Fakirappa Tulkannavar (42), a resident of Somnatti in Baihongal, Lakshmi Gudgoli (35) and her son Kumar (8), residents of Ankalgi in Gokak. Bengaluru, 23 Jan 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal reacted to H D Kumaraswamy’s claim that the bomb scare at Mangaluru airport was a mock drill by saying that the JD(S) leader is mentally imbalanced and is slowly becoming Owaisi of Karnataka.
