BJP website down after alleged hacking attempt

New Delhi, 05 Mar 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: The website of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) went into maintenance mode after an alleged hacking attempt early on Tuesday morning. Social media was abuzz with screenshots of a meme featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Below the meme was a music video of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The meme poked fun at a clip in which German Chancellor Angela Merkel walks past Modi as he extends his hand. Later, while trying to open the website, it showed the following message: “We will be back soon! Sorry for the inconvenience but we’re performing some maintenance at the moment. Hyderabad: Nowhera Sheik knocks HC door, seeks to declare registered FIRs as ‘illegal’

New Delhi, 17 Mar 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Heera Gold Exim Pvt Ltd managing Director Nowhera Shaikh has knocked the Telangana High Court door seeking transfer of all cases registered against her and the company to the SFIO the authorized body to probe company law offences. Hearing the petition filed by Nowhera, Justice Shameem Akther of the Telangana high court on Friday issued notices to the Union corporate affairs ministry, its probe wing Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) and Telangana police asking them to file a response to the filed plea, TOI reports. Pakistan releases 60 Indians as goodwill gesture

Amritsar, 30 Apr 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Pakistan on Tuesday released 60 jailed Indians, including 55 fishermen, at the Wagah border as a goodwill gesture. All the fishermen were reportedly arrested for fishing illegally in Pakistani waters. The five others, who were in Pakistan, were arrested for allegedly not having proper Pakistani visa and other documentation. The released Indian citizens had completed their prison term while most of them had served much longer than the sentence awarded by Pakistani courts.
