Karnataka voting on May 12, results on May 15

Bengaluru, 27 Mar 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: Voting for the Assembly elections in Karnataka will be held on the 12th of May, and the results will be out on the 15th of May, Election Commission announced today. The term of the current 224-member legislative Assembly ends on May 28. The elections are likely to be a three-way fight between Congress, BJP and JDS. While BJP would look to regain its southern citadel, Congress would expect Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to retain the only big state it is in power, with Kumaraswamy’s party, according to analysts, likely to play kingmaker. Chartered accountant dies in tragic road mishap

Moodbidri, 31 Mar 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: A chartered accountant from Karkala met a tragic end in a   collision between his car and a tourist bus at Handel near  here on March 30, Friday. The deceased is Prakash Hegde (62). He is learnt to have died on the spot.  Prakash along with his family was returning to Karkala after attending the wedding of a relative in Mangaluru on  Thursday. Dissenting BJP leaders demand ouster of Ananth Kumar and Santosh

Bengaluru, 06 May 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: The rising dissent within the BJP ranks came into the open with few leaders demanding ouster of Union Minister Ananth Kumar and RSS leader Santosh, on May 5 holding the duo responsible for cancellation of party ticket to B Y Vijayendra to contest form Varuna Constituency.
