ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ಮತ ನೀಡಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಈಗ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಬೆಲೆ ತೆರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ: ದೆಹಲಿ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರದ ಕುರಿತು ಚಿದು ಕಿಡಿ

ನವದೆಹಲಿ: 25 ಫೆಬ್ರುವರಿ 2020 (ಫಿಕ್ರೋಖಬರ್ ಸುದ್ದಿ) ದೆಹಲಿ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಜಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಪಿ ಚಿದಂಬರಂ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಿಡಿಕಾರಿದ್ದು, ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ಮತ ನೀಡಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಈಗ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಬೆಲೆ ತೆರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪೌರತ್ವ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯ ಪರ-ವಿರೋಧಿ ಬಣಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿದ್ದು, ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪೊಲೀಸ್​ ಪೇದೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಏಳು ಜನರು ಮೃತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 50ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ಗಾಯಾಳುಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೇ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಪಿ ಚಿದಂಬರಂ ಅವರು, 'ನಿನ್ನೆ ನಡೆದಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ಅಘಾತಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಖಂಡನೀಯ. ನೀವು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮತೆ ಇರದ ನಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ಮತ ನೀಡಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಇದೀಗ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಬೆಲೆ ತೆರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ' ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಸರಣಿ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಅವರು, 'ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ 1955ರಿಂದಲೂ ಪೌರತ್ವ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಜಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಯ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗ ಏನೂ ತುಂಬಾ ತಡವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಬೆಲೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್​ ಸಿಎಎ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಗೆ ಸಿಂಧುತ್ವ ನೀಡುವವರೆಗೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಘೋಷಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಿಎಎ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ವಿಭಜನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಕೈ ಬಿಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Even now it is not too late. The government should listen to the voices of the anti-CAA protesters and declare that the CAA will be kept in abeyance until the Supreme Court pronounced on its validity.

India has lived with the Citizenship Act 1955 without the amendment. Why does the Act need an amendment now? The amendment (CAA) should be abandoned forthwith.
