CHENNAI, 19 Feb 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Music director Kuralarasan, the younger brother of Silambarasan converts to Islam. According to media reports, the young musician, in presence of parents T Rajhendherr and Usha accepting and embracing Islam and converting to the Muslim religion at a ceremony recently held at a mosque in Anna Salai, Chennai. The short video of the event has gone viral on social media platforms. When asked about his son’s decision, T Rajendar said that he considers all religions as equal. “Tolerance of all religions is my policy. My elder son STR is an ardent Siva devotee. Arrest Mehbooba if she supports Jamaat-e-Islami, ban madrasas if spreading terrorism: Kavinder Gupta
New Delhi, 07 Mar 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former deputy CM Kavinder Gupta has said former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti should be arrested for supporting banned organization Jamaat-e-Islami. Speaking to media persons on Wednesday, Gupta said, “Bangladesh, Afghanistan and other nations banned madrasas because of illegal activities. Similarly, if efforts to spread terrorism are made in Kashmir, they should be banned here too. Wanted in blast cases were holding bomb training camps: SIT to Court
New Delhi, 11 May 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: The investigation by the Karnataka Police into the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh has revealed that the four missing members of Hindutva outfit Abhinav Bharat trained several suspects linked to the Sanatan Sanstha in making bombs at secret training camps across the country between 2011-2016. It was revealed in the documents submitted by the SIT to a Bengaluru court. They are all wanted for blasts in the Samjhauta Express, Mecca Masjid, Ajmer Dargah and Malegaon between 2006 and 2008. Pragya Singh Thakur, the BJP’s Bhopal Lok Sabha candidate, is also an accused in the 2008 Malegaon blasts case along with 13 others.
