But before the plan would take off, Facebook successfully lobbied to get it scuttled, making the poll body to eventually keep it to the voluntary code of ethics bereft of any legal consequences upon violation, new internal company documents put out by whistleblower Frances Haugen have  revealed. Thousands of Muslim women march on Pune streets against Triple Talaq bill

Pune, 12 Mar 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: Thousands of Burkha-clad women from Maharashtra’s Pune, under the banner of  All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), held a rally on Saturday to protest against the Muslim Women Protection of Rights on Marriage Bill, which criminalises instant triple talaq. The rally started from Bata Chowk, M.G road to Azam campus in Pune. ;The triple talaq Bill is an “injustice” to Muslim women and they should stand up against it, said MP  Asaduddin while addressing the gatherings. Assam CM Slammed for Anti-Muslim Remarks in Telangana

New Delhi, 11 Jan 2022 [Fik/News Sources]: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has been censured for making a intemperate and provocative remarks against AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi in Telangana alluding to elimination of Muslims. Sarma said the Nizam of Hyderabad and Owaisi would be written off from the state. “The way Article 370 was scrapped, Ram Mandir’s construction began… here also Nizam’s name, Owaisi’s name will be written off… that day is not very far,” said Sarma.
