Sudan to reopen border with Eritrea: President Bashir

KHARTOUM, 31 Jan 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir on Thursday announced that his government was reopening the country’s eastern border with Eritrea, state-run television reported.

The announcement came during al-Bashir’s address of his supporters in the eastern Sudan city of Kassala.

Describing the ties between the two countries as “relations of history, geography and blood”, Sudanese president thanked Eritrea.
