US offers reward for intel on Iran's paramilitary force

Ankara, 05 Sep 2019 [Fik/News Sources]:The U.S. President Donald Trump's administration will start offering a reward of up to $15 million for information that can help disrupt the financial mechanism of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), according to American political newspaper and website, The Hill. It reported that the U.S. State Department is expected to make the announcement today. Trump administration designated IRGC as a terrorist entity in April and is now taking its fight to the next level through its Rewards for Justice program. Any information on the revenue sources of the military unit will be rewarded by Washington, according to The Hill report. Malian army kills 50 militants, frees soldiers

BAMAKO, 21 Oct 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: The Malian armed forces killed about 50 militants and wounded 30 others in an operation late Friday. “Around 50 enemies were neutralized, around 30 others wounded, and materials were destroyed,” the army said in a statement on Saturday. The operation also freed 36 of around 60 of its soldiers who had been captured in September attacks on two bases in the center of the country, it said. It added that the Friday evening operation had taken place with “a very increased engagement” of the French Barkhane force with Malian troops. It also noted that the operations confirmed the presence of women involved with the armed groups. Trump slams 'sick' media for coverage of medical visit

WASHINGTON , 20 Nov 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday rebuked media coverage of his announced medical visit over the weekend, saying he had a routine physical.  "These people are sick. They’re sick," said Trump. "The press, really, in this country is dangerous. We don’t have freedom of the press in this country. We have the opposite."
