Key Hate Figures from BJP Get Drubbing in UP Assembly Polls

New Delhi, 14 Mar 2022 [Fik/News Sources]: Even as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has clinched a thumping victory in the just concluded assembly elections in four of the five states, some of the party’s rabid hate-mongers from Uttar Pradesh who are notorious for their anti-Muslim activities, including hate campaign and violence, got a drubbing at the hustings. European academic on Malabar Muslims deported from airport

New Delhi, 26 Mar 2022 [Fik/News Sources]: A European academic who studies Malabar Muslims for the past thirty years was stopped from attending a conference in Thiruvananthapuram and was deported from the airport without any valid reasons by the authorities. Renowned UK-based anthropologist Filippo Osella, who has worked on the Muslims of Malabar, was deported after their arrival at Thiruvananthapuram airport where he came for attending a conference on Kerala’s coastal communities. Professor Osella is an internationally-known anthropologist and sociologist from the University of Sussex UK. Maha: Lakhs of Muslims protest against BJP spokespersons’ anti-Prophet remarks

New Delhi, 11 June 2022 [Fik/News Sources]: Lakhs of Muslims trooped out on the roads after the customary Friday afternoon ‘namaaz’ in Aurangabad, Solapur, Raigad, Ahmednagar, Thane, Parbhani, Beed, Jalna and other places in Maharashtra protesting against the anti-Prophet Mohammed remarks of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokespersons recently.
