Karwar: Clash with Health staff
Karwar, 27 July 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: Some people of KEB Road in Karwar entered into a verbal clash with the health department staff who had come with an ambulance to take two Covid positive children to the BCM Hostel Covid Care Centre on Sunday. Two children aged nine and 11 residing in a house on KEB Road tested positive for Covid-19. When the ambulance arrived, their father who has recovered from Covid-19 opposed sending his children to the Covid Care Centre and said that the children will be taken care of at their home. He said that the Covid care centres did not have adequate facilities and so, he would get his children treated keeping them in isolation at their home in Shirwad. Bengaluru, 17 August 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: Parents and relatives of the more than 300 people arrested by police in connection with the violence in the city’s Kadugondanahalli and Devarajeevanahalli on the night if Tuesday, August 11 are protesting outside police stations. Bhatkal: First round of weekly Fiqh Shafi'i competition concludes, results announced
Bhatkal, 27 August 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: The first stage of the weekly jurisprudential questions and answers competition under Fikrokhabar Fiqhe Shafii and Islamiafkaar came to an end in which more than three hundred people from Bhatkal and surrounding areas showed their interest for jurisprudential issues. It should be noted that there will be five questions in each phase and after each phase 3 people will be given prize coupons through lottery.
