Muslims donate ₹1 Crore towards Tamil Nadu CM’s Covid Relief Fund

New Delhi, 05 June 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: The prestigious Muslim Educational Association of Southern India (MEASI), has donated ₹1 crore towards Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to help support the State’s initiative in combating the Covid pandemic. The President of the MEASI, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, Prince of Arcot, accompanied by the Honorary Secretary, Mr. Elias Sait, Honorary Treasurer, a chartered accountant, and the secretary-general of Seafood Exporters Association of India, Mr. Najmuddin Majeed, Executive Committee members a philanthropist and businessman, Mr. K. Facebook Banned Sanatan Sanstha But Quietly Allowed Its Hate-Filled Pages to Function for Months

New Delhi, 13 June 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: It was several months back that Facebook had banned Sanathan Sanstha, a Hindu extremist group. However, it allowed 32 pages linked to the group to function uninterrupted. These pages have 3.2 million followers. This was noticed by the Time magazine on whose query Facebook removed all but three pages in April. According to a report published in the magazine, Facebook had quietly banned at least three main pages of Sanatan Sanstha, which had 70,000 followers, in September last year.
