New Delhi, 25 Feb 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Delhi Tihar prison authorities on Sunday denied any untoward incident or mishap involving inmate and Kashmiri separatist leader Shabir Shah. Refuting claims of mishaps involving inmates from Jammu and Kashmir, Deputy Inspector General of Tihar Jail, Shailendra Parihar said: “Shabir Shah is absolutely “fit and fine”. All other inmates from Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan are also fine.” Shabir Shah is the main accused in a 2007 money laundering case related to alleged terror financing. New Delhi, 25 Mar 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel on Sunday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his flip-flop policy on Pakistan and his questioning the patriotism of opposition leaders, saying that describing ideological opponents as sympathisers of terrorism also amounts to “treason”. “If Modiji talks to Pakistan, it is in national interest, but if others hold peace talks, they are dubbed pro-terrorism and pro-Pakistan.
