New Delhi, 10 May 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: Petrol and diesel prices were up again in the national capital and stood at Rs 91.53 and Rs 82.06 per litre, respectively on Monday. As compared to Sunday, petrol has become costlier by 26 paise while the price of diesel has increased by 33 paise. Petrol in Mumbai retailed at Rs 97.86 per litre while diesel at Rs 89.17 per litre. In Kolkata, petrol stood at Rs 91.66 per litre and diesel at Rs 84.90 per litre and in Chennai, petrol stood at Rs 93.38 per litre and diesel at Rs 86.96 per litre. Earlier on Saturday and Sunday, the price of petrol and diesel remains unchanged.
Read More...New Delhi, 29 Aug 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: Twelve members of Tablighi Jamaat, including nine Thai nationals, were acquitted for lack of evidence by a local court here on Friday, officials said. Defence counsel Milan Kumar Gupta said that a case was lodged against 12 members of the Tablighi Jamaat, including the nine Thai nationals, two persons from Tamil Nadu, and one local. They were arrested last year from a mosque in Shahjahanpur allegedly for violation of pandemic guidelines. A case was registered against them at Sadar police station in Shahjahanpur under various sections of the IPC, Epidemic Act, Disaster Management Act, Foreigners Act and Passport Act. As per the FIR, four of the victims were mowed down by a vehicle allegedly being driven by Ashish Mishra.
