India bans Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh terror group
ANKARA, 26 May 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Citing terrorist acts, India's government has banned the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), an official statement said on Friday. In a statement, the Home Ministry said the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh and its organizations like Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen India or Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Hindustan and all its manifestations "have committed and promoted acts of terrorism and have been engaged in radicalization and recruitment of youth(s) for terrorist activists in India.” The JMB was established in 1998 “the objective of establishing a caliphate through jihad,” according to the statement. “Investigations have also revealed JMB’s plan of making permanent bases within ten kilometers along the indo-Bangladesh border in several districts of West Bengal,

Bangladesh: Plan to help women hit by climate change
DHAKA, 08 July 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Bangladesh and the UN have jointly launched a $33 million project to help around 700,000 climate-vulnerable people, mostly women and adolescent girls in country’s southwestern region, a UNDP press release said on Sunday. “Ministry of Women and Children Affairs joined hands with the UNDP to implement a six-year long project in Satkhira and Khulna districts”, said the statement. 'Turkey constantly protects drilling vessels in E.Med'
ANKARA, 23 July 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: The Turkish Naval Forces Command is providing full protection to Turkish drilling vessels operating in the Eastern Mediterranean, the country’s National Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday. On Twitter, the ministry shared video footage shot by a UAV showing a Turkish drilling vessel escorted by a corvette, assault boat, and Bayraktar TV-2 UAV. The ministry stated that country’s drill ships are provided full protection both on the surface and under water, saying that protective UAVs, planes, helicopters, corvettes, frigates, and submarines are ready to engage in hostilities if necessary at any time.
