Trump picks budget director as new chief of staff

WASHINGTON, 15 Dec 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: U.S. President Donald Trump selected Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney to be his new acting chief of staff Friday.  "Mick has done an outstanding job while in the Administration," Trump said on Twitter. "I look forward to working with him in this new capacity as we continue to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! John will be staying until the end of the year. He is a GREAT PATRIOT and I want to personally thank him for his service!" UN regrets Somalia’s decision to expel top diplomat

JOHANNESBURG, 07 Jan 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: The United Nations Security Council has said it expects full cooperation between Somalia and the United Nations; days after the horn of Africa country expelled a top UN diplomat. A statement released Sunday, said the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres had expressed his deep regret on Friday following the decision by the Somali government to expel his special representative Nicholas Haysom. “The members of the Security Council underlined that 2019 would be a critical year for Somalia, and called on its leaders to work together to advance political and security reform,” the statement said. Protesters hurl stones at Iran's embassy in Netherlands

THE HAGUE, 10 Jan 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: A group demonstrating against the murders of two Iranian dissidents in the Netherlands attacked the Iranian embassy in The Hague late Wednesday and were arrested for public disorder, Dutch media reported. The protest reportedly started out peacefully but later turned violent. Some of the protesters reportedly hurled stones and objects at the embassy and tried to enter the building by climbing over its fence. Police arrested four suspects, including the son of Ahmad Mola Nissi, a leader of the separatist group Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahwaz (ASMLA), which is regarded as a terrorist organization by Tehran. Nissi, 52, was shot dead at the front door of his residence in The Hague in November 2017. The other dissident, Ali Motamed, was killed in a similar fashion
