Trump to host Qatar emir at White House

WASHINGTON, 09 June 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: U.S. President Donald Trump will host Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani at the White House next month, the executive mansion announced Friday. The July 9 meeting will allow Trump and al-Thani to "build on the longstanding partnership between the United States and Qatar and further strengthen our already substantial economic and security ties," spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said in a statement. The leaders are expected to address regional developments, security cooperation and counterterrorism, she added. Anas al-Abde elected new head of Syrian opposition coalition

ISTANBUL, 30 June 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Anas al-Abde was elected the head of the Syrian opposition coalition for the second time on Saturday.  Al-Abde was elected the head of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces following the end of Abdurrahman Mustafa’s term of office, said the coalition’s media office. He secured 75 votes out of 82 in an uncontested election in the general assembly which was held in Istanbul. Born in Syria's Damascus in 1967, Al-Abde was elected for the head of the coalition in 2016 for the first time. After the conflict arose in Syria, he played an important role in establishing the Syrian National Council in 2012. Iran ‘committed’ to full implementation of nuke deal

ANKARA, 03 July 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Iran is “committed” to full implementation of the nuclear deal as long as other stakeholders comply with their commitments, the country’s foreign minister said on Tuesday.
