NIA conducts fresh raids in Delhi and Amroha; 10 arrested

New Delhi, 01 Jan 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: After raids at 16 places in UP and Delhi on December 26, agencies conducted fresh raids in Amroha and surrounding areas on the basis of interrogation of arrested suspects. 10 suspects have been arrested from Amroha. According to sources, NIA conducted raids at several suspicious places of west UP on the night of December 30 and arrested 10 people. However, no official statement has been released in this connection. The raids were jointly conducted by ATS, NIA and local police. After the crackdown, NIA’s IG Alok Mittal told that the arrested suspects were preparing to target several key persons, installations and major markets of Delhi. Pulwama terror attack: Curfew in Jammu enters day 3

J&K, 18 Feb 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Curfew in Jammu city continued for the third day with Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF personnel asking people to stay indoors. The curfew, which was imposed after the ghastly Pulwama terror attack, would continue to be in place as a precautionary measure to prevent any violence, police said on Sunday. Curfew was imposed in Jammu after scores of people took to the streets and blocked Jammu-Pathankot national highway on Friday to protest against the deadly terror attack in Pulwama which claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel. Over 100 filmmakers urge people not to vote for BJP

New Delhi, 30 Mar 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Around 100 members of the Indian film fraternity on Friday issued an appeal urging Indians not to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
