Kashmir: Govt Should Not Miss Change in Muslim World’s Perception About India
New Delhi, 05 August 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: As Kashmir marks one year of losing its special status on August 5, Turkey has renewed its support to Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir. Dawn of Karachi reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephonic conversation with President Arif Alvi on August 1 and assured him of his country’s support for Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue. He also talked to Prime Minister Imran Khan on the phone. Alvi announced his conversation through two tweets the following day. “President Dr. Arif Alvi and President Erdogan exchanged Eid-ul-Azha greetings in a telephonic conversation. Study Reveals Muslim Children Face High Marginalisation at Entry-Level in Delhi’s Private Schools
New Delhi, 22 Feb 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: Children from Muslim minority community face high educational marginalisation at entry-level classes in private schools of Delhi, a new study has found. Out of the total number of children who applied for admission in sampled private schools, irrespective of their religion, only 8.3% got admission and less than 3% of the children who got admission in private schools were Muslims, revealed the study titled ‘Early Educational Marginalisation for Muslim Children in India: An Analysis of Nursery School Admission in Private Schools of Delhi, India’. Moreover, the study concluded that out of total Muslim children who applied for admission, only 6.1% were able to get admission. Unemployment high, informal sector in shambles due to demonetisation: Manmohan Singh
New Delhi, 02 Mar 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: Attacking the Centre, former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Tuesday said unemployment is high in the country and its informal sector is in shambles following the "ill considered demonetisation decision" taken by the BJP-led government in 2016.
