Report Blames Communalisation of Pandemic for Sorry Plight of Muslims

New Delhi, 24 Jan 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: THE vilification of India’s 195 million Muslims by the media after the Tablighi Jamaat meet in New Delhi in March 2020 amid the Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) has prompted a women’s collective to record and study the experiences of those working at the forefront of relief work and advocacy efforts during the deadly pandemic. Travesty of Justice : Bail granted to Kapil Gujjar while Sharukh Khan still behind bars

New Delhi, 10 Mar 2021 [Fik/News Sources]:  It may be called travesty of justice . Two persons held for the same crime but one gets bail within days while other has been behind bars since March 2020. The case in point is of Shahrukh Pathan and Kapil Gujjar. Public is not too short to forget the face of gun-toting Kapil Gujjar who had opened fire at Shaheen Bagh protests site in the presence of heavy police force. 66% people in UP blame Muslim populations for spread of Covid-19: Report

New Delhi, 18 May 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: 66 percent people in Uttar Pradesh believe that the spread of Covid-19 is caused by Muslim populations while 93 per cent people blames ”foreigners” for the pandemic, according to a survey conducted in 2020. Professor Asad Islam, Director of the Centre for Development Economics and Sustainability in the Monash Business School, asked 2,138 people across 40 neighbourhoods in Uttar Pradesh what they thought about the rise in COVID cases.
