I may be next target, fears Shivaram Hebbar amid row over Ramesh Jarkiholi's sex tape

Bengaluru, 07 Mar 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: Labour Welfare Minister Shivaram Hebbar on Saturday described the controversy surrounding Ramesh Jarkiholi as a political conspiracy, and stated that he moved court as a precautionary measure, and because he fears he could become the next victim.  The Uttara Kannada district in-charge minister told the media that the CD was a conspiracy to malign Jarkiholi.  “It is an attempt to target all those who were in Mumbai and responsible for the formation of the new BJP government. Amidst lockdown, father of special child pedals 300 km to get medicine for him

So without any second thought, I decided to take this simple mission,” says 45-year-old Anand, who pedalled over 300 km in a cycle from his village to Bengaluru to purchase medicine for his specially challenged son amidst COVID-19 lockdown. Karnataka SSLC examinations to be held from July 19: Details here

Bengaluru, 28 June 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: The Karnataka government on Monday, June 28, said that the upcoming Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination will be held from July 19. Karnataka Education Minister S Suresh Kumar, who was announcing the dates, said that the examination of core subjects— Mathematics, Science and Social Science — will be held on July 19 and the examination on languages will be held on July 22.  “The examination will be held between 10.30 am to 1.30 pm,” the Minister said. The Minister added if a student has contracted COVID-19 and wishes to appear for the examination, they can do so from the nearest COVID-19 Care Centre.
