Moger Samaj protests in Bhatkal for 22 days, Deputy Commissioner meets protesters

Bhatkal, 14 April 2022 [Fik/News Sources]: Deputy Commissioner Mulai Mohalen called on the protesters of Moger Samaj which have been going on in the city for the last 22 days. 

Meanwhile, Moger Samaj officials told him that the High Court and the Supreme Court had talked of issuing a listed caste certificate to Moger Samaj but the state government had not yet implemented it. Advocate Nagraj gave all the details. 

The Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration has no involvement in this regard. He said that the Minister for Social Welfare had recently visited here and reviewed the situation, who has also spoken of convening a high level meeting.
