Kumta, 22 Mar 2022 [Fik/News Sources]: The inauguration of the magnificent and beautiful mosque of GudKagal, Kamta on the banks of the river took place on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM in the presence of scholars and elders.
Fishing is the occupation of the people of this village situated on the banks of the river which connects the Arabian Sea. The people here have been associated with this profession since the time of their forefathers.
Earlier there was a small mosque here but due to the growing population it became insufficient and now with the help of philanthropists a magnificent and beautiful mosque has been built.
But scholars from Bhatkal, Manki, while attending the inaugural program, gave advice and urged to think about resettling the mosque. The scholars advised to observe the prayers as well as to make efforts to settle the mosque. Explaining the virtues of mosques, he spoke of making them not only a center of prayer but also a center of Islam.
On this occasion, the superintendent of Madrasa Arabiya Taleem-ul-Quran Tengingundi Maulana Muhammad Saud Nadvi, the deputy superintendent Maulana Ishaq Nadvi, Qazi Jamaat-e-Muslimeen Manki Maulana Shakeel Ahmad Nadvi, the superintendent of Madrasa Ronak-ul-Islam Sherwar Maulana Bahauddin Nadvi Daran was present.
