Fear among the public over the presence of stray dogs in the premises of Bhatkal Town Municipal Council building

Bhatkal, 03 Mar 2022 [Fik/News Sources]: Talking about the spread of filth in the premises of Bhatkal Town Municipal Council Building due to stray dogs coming and going and urinating outside the building, the officials of VD Bhatkalis met the President of the Municipal Corporation Mr. Pervez Qasimji and raised issues before him. 
Mr. Abdul Basit Ikri, told Fikrohabar that stray dogs are always seen roaming around the premises of the Town Municipal Council building, which is causing fear. In addition to the government office, there are several shops inside the TMC where most of the people, especially women and children, keep coming and going. He said that people have been standing behind the TMC building and urinating for many years. 

In addition to damaging the TMC building, the stench is spreading throughout the area. Maintaining cleanliness in and around the city is an important goal of the municipality. If such filth is seen there, it can have a very bad effect on the general public. In any case, our Prime Minister has emphasized on the Sooch Bharat Abhiyan. 

He has also brought this to the notice of Chief Officer Radhika SS and demanded through a memorandum that these issues should be resolved as soon as possible. Assured to take it seriously and take prompt action.
