Bhatkal: Inauguration of Covid Care Center by Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem

Bhatkal, 30 May 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: A special committee has been constituted by the Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem under the convenership of Mr. Imran Lanka and Deputy Convener Mr. Sadiq Matta. The committee is headed by the president and general secretary of the Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem. 

Providing information about the services the Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem is providing can sometimes lead to problems. Therefore, the people should trust those responsible. This was stated by Dr Muhammad Hanif Shabab who was providing information to the journalists about the Covid Care Center set up by the Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem. He said that the people of the department were doing their job and the Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem was moving forward with all the issues in mind. We have to work with health in mind. 

The lockdown is today and will end tomorrow but health is very important to us and what we are doing is keeping the next situation in mind and experts have expressed fears of a third wave. Therefore, the organization has started a coveted center in the upper part of the life care hospital where people can be treated at affordable charges as compared to private hospitals for which we also have experienced doctors and other staff. He also said that its establishment should be considered as a part of the hospital which will be exclusively for Covid.

In this regard, he added that the INF and the Bhatkal Muslim Gulf Council are fully cooperating with the organization. Mr. Atiq-ur-Rehman Muniri, Vice President of the Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem, Mr. Muzammil Qazi, Secretary General of the Gulf Council, and Mr. Arshad Mohtasham, Vice President of the INF, as well as other officials are extending their support for the establishment of this Covid Care Center. 

Similarly, the owner of this building, Siddique Ansar, has handed over her new flat for this work for which the organization is giving special thanks to her. Dr. Hanif Shabab further said that there was a program to open a Covid center in the Women's Center and preparations were being made for it but due to some constraints it could not be set up there. Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem thanks Ms. Khadija (owner of the Women's Center) for giving us her building before and still providing it. He also advised the people to seek treatment before the disease spreads.
