Rain continues to lash coastal Karnataka; damages properties, house in Udupi dist

Udupi, 09 May 2021 [Fik/News Sources]:   Thundershowers accompanied by lightning in several parts of the district on Saturday caused heavy damages to residents properties.

Heavy rains were reported from Karkala taluk damaging properties and houses in places such as Padumane, Hermunde and Marne among others. Places in the district such as Brahmavar, Kota, Malpe and Kaup too were shrouded with heavy rains.

The rains poured unevenly across the district with heavy downpour also reported from Brahmavara, Kaup, Malpe and Kota.

Other parts of the district such as Kundapura, Siddapura, Hosangadi, Hallihole, Shankaranarayana, Haladi, Goliangadi, Belve, Kollur, Jadkal, Muddur, Vandse, Basrur, Thekkatte and Koteshwara recevied moderate rainfall.
