Charges in 3 coastal K’taka toll plazas to be hiked from April 1

Mangaluru, 31 Mar 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: Toll charges at three toll plazas in coastal Karnataka – Talapady, Hejamadi and Sasthana – will be hiked from April 1.

The revision on charges was announced in an order issued recently.

Revised charges for the Brahamarakootlu and NITK toll plazas which are directly operated by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will be announced on April 1.

The revised toll charges for the three toll plazas are:

Hejamadi

– Light vehicles: Rs 40 for single journey and Rs 60 for return; monthly pass Rs 1,280.

– LCV and minibuses: Rs 60 for single journey and Rs 95 for return; monthly pass Rs 2,065.

– Trucks, buses: Rs 130 for single journey and Rs 195 for return; monthly pass Rs 4,325.

Talapady

– Light vehicles: Rs 40 for single journey and Rs 65 for return; monthly pass Rs 1,400.

– LCV and minibuses: Rs 65 for single journey and Rs 95 for return; monthly pass Rs 2,155.

Sasthan

– Light vehicles: Rs 45 for single journey and Rs 70 for return; monthly pass Rs 1,555.

– LCV and minibuses: Rs 75 for single journey and Rs 115 for return; monthly pass Rs 2,510.

– Trucks, buses: Rs 160 for single journey and Rs 235 for return; monthly pass Rs 5,260.
