Ghaziabad Temple Priest Targets Former President APJ Abdul Kalam, Calls him ‘Jihadi’

New Delhi, 28 Mar 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: The priest of the Dasna Devi Temple in Ghaziabad, where a Muslim boy was thrashed for drinking water on its premises, targeted former president APJ Abdul Kalam on March 23 over his religion, calling him a “jihadi”.

“Any Muslim in the top echelons of the country cannot be pro-India and Kalam was a jihadi,” the priest Narsinghanad Saraswati told reporters in Aligarh, reports PTI.

The priest even levelled allegations without substance against former President of India and accused late Kalam of supplying the formula of the “atom bomb to Pakistan as DRDO chief”.

“Kalam had formed a cell in the Rashtrapati Bhawan where any Muslim could file his grievance,” the priest claimed, according to the report.

Earlier, an innocent child of Muslim community was mercilessly thrashed by one Shringi Nandan Yadav of Bhagalpur for drinking water inside the same temple on March 12. The video of the incident was uploaded on social media.

In the video, Yadav was seen asking the boy his name, who said he was Asif. Yadav was then seen brutally thrashing him.

Ghaziabad Police, however, arrested the oppressor Yadav for thrashing the boy for no reason except that he was a Muslim and a case has been registered against him.
