63-year-old Bhatkal woman memorizes holy Quran, becomes example of "age is just a number"

Bhatkal, 02 Jan 2020 [varthabharati]: A 63-year-old woman has set an example of will and dedication by memorizing the Holy Quran at the age of 63.

The woman, identified as Bibi Shahar Baanu reportedly completed the process of memorizing Quran in three and half years at a Madrasa arrangement of Markazi Khalifa Jamat-ul-Muslimeen, Bhatkal.

Ever since the report went public through local Instagram pages, and other social media platforms, people have lauded the will and dedication shown by Shahar Banu in completing the memorization of Quran at the age of 63.

What has caught the eyeballs of the people is the fact that Shahar Baanu lost her husband just as she started her hifz, but did not lose her will and dedication and memorized the holy Quran recently.
