Social activist opposes highlighting of Adani Airports at MIA nameboard

Mangaluru, 22 Nov 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: Social activist and President of DK District Bus Operators Association Dilraj Alva has taken strong exception to the mention of Adani Airports in bold letters  at both the entry and exit point of the Mangaluru International Airport.

Speaking to reporters here, he said along with Adani Airports which is large font and bold letters, the  Mangaluru International Airport is written in small fonts. This is not acceptable, he said.

On the issue of the demand to rename the Airport, he said the issue has taken a political turn and said it would be better to rename the airport as Tulunadu International Airport.

He also demanded that jobs should be provided to local candidates at the airport.
