Kasargod: Dead body of 15-year-old student who drowned while swimming on Monday, recovered

Kasargod, 18 Nov 2020 [varthabharati]: The dead body of a student who drowned while swimming along with his classmates in Chandragiri river on Monday was recovered on Tuesday morning.

The deceased student has been identified as Misbah (15). He was reportedly swimming in the river along with three other classmates on Monday afternoon when the incident took place.

Locals, firefighters and other officials had jointly launched a search operation immediately after the incident and recovered the dead body on Tuesday morning.

Misbah was a class X student of Chamnad Jamaat Higher Secondary School.
