Bengaluru, 25 Feb 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: The presence of mind shown by the driver, conductor of a private bus helped save life of a woman passenger who began experiencing chest pain near KC road in Kinya village here.
On Monday, February 24, the woman passenger identified as Bhagya, 50, boarded the bus (Mahesh Travels, route number 43A) at Kinya stop. Sometime into the journey, she shouted out that she was feeling chest pain. Alarmed by the situation, the bus driver Pramod and conductor Ashwith drove the bus directing to a private hospital in Kotekar without stopping in between.
Preliminary treatment was given to Bhagya at the Kotekar hospital whereafter she was admitted to Deralakatte private hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, Pramod and Ashwith earned appreciation from Mahesh Travels bus owner Prakash Shekha as well as from the bus owners association for their quick-thinking under the situation.
