Bantwal : Driver injured as car falls into trench

Bantwal, 09 Jan 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: The driver of a car sustained injuries after the car fell into a trench at a site where a small bridge is being built  as part of the BC Road-Punjalakatte road works.

It is learnt, the driver lost control over the vehicle resulting in the mishap.  The injured driver has been identified as Rajesh. He was on way to BC Road when the mishap took place.

Locals say the  failure of the project implementation authorities to erect a warning sign board was the cause of the mishap.
