Madikeri: After mother, son kills self

Madikeri, 18 Nov 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: 26-year-old killed himself on Sunday, November 17 after he saw his mother hanged to death when he returned home.

The deceased are identified as Harish and his mother Tangamani (55).

As per the sources, Tangamani had hanged herself in the house when Harish was not at home. Whne he came back home he was shocked to see his mother hanging. He immediately informed his relatives and then hanged himself to death with his lungi.

It is gathered that Harish had married nine months ago. However, their marital life was not fruitfull and bride left husband’s housr within 15 days of the marriage, she later filed a complaint in the court seeking alimony and divorce.

A case in this regard has been registered with the Somwarpet police.
