Bengaluru, 21 Sep 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: By-elections for 15 seats in Karnataka will be held on October 21 announced Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sunil Arora at a press conference here.

The counting of votes will be held on October 24.

The elections have been necessitated as the MLAs of these constituencies have been disqualified by the then Speaker Ramesh Kumar.

The election will be held in Gokak, Athani, Kagavada, Hirekenooru, Yallapura, Yashwanthpur, Vijayanagar, Shuvajinagar, Hosakote, Hanasur, KR Pete, Mahalakshimi Layout, KR pura, Ranebennur, Chikkaballapura.
