A white coloured Tata Indica car that was following the truck was also stopped.
Under interrogation, it was revealed that the cattle were being taken to be sold Abdulla, a native of Kasaragod. The estimated cost of 13 male buffaloes and seven buffaloes is said to be around Rs 65,000 and 35,000 respectively.
The cattle in question were being transported in a heavy 12-wheeler truck, covered with tarpaulin on top in the guise of transporting Tiles and Marble stones to avoid suspicion.
