This waterfall is also known as Abbi waterfalls. Being a renowned tourist centre in the district, the waterfall is famous as ‘mini Jog’ waterfalls.

Increased beauty

The water flowing from the waterfall provides vital assistance to cultivation along its path and eventually becomes one with the Arabian Sea via Sankadagundi.

Trekkers, be cautious!

During the monsoon season it is not possible to go near the waterfall. The rocks which bear towards the waterfall are extremely slippery and hence dangerous. Tragedies have occurred here before and three lives have been lost. Since, college students come here in groups, precautions need to be taken. Warning signboards have been installed here on behalf of the Forest Department and JCI, asking visitors to be careful.
