Blast near Congress MLA’s house in B’luru, 1 dead

Bengaluru, 19 May 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: An explosion that took place near Congress MLA Munirathana’s house today (May 19) morning claimed the life of a pedestrian.

The victim identified as Venkatesh, 45, was walking along the road when the blast occurred at around 9:15 am. His body was blown to pieces in the blast.

According to reports, the explosion took place in the car parking lot near Munirathana’s Rajarajeshwari Nagar house.

Confirming the news of the explosion Bengaluru City Police Commissioner T Suneel Kumar said: “The explosion occurred at 9:15 am on the road. A person who was walking on the road is dead. An investigation is underway.”

Meanwhile, bomb diffusion squad and FSL team also arrived on the spot.
