Terror strike on CRPF jawans: PFI expresses shock, joins grief of nation

Mangaluru, 16 Feb 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Popular Front of India chairman E Abubacker has expressed shock over the terror strike on CRPF jawans at Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir on February 14, killing 37 personnel.

He conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved families of the jawans. “We have lost our brave soldiers in the attack, which is strongly condemnable”, he said.

“There is an unprecedented increase in the number of violent incidents in Jammu and Kashmir in recent past. There was a serious security lapses in spite of intelligence inputs in this attack”, he said.

Instead of taking political advantage for the forthcoming elections out of this incident, the government should investigate the incident properly. Measures should be taken to check the repetition of similar casualties in future, he demanded reminding the government to take measures to find a permanent solution to Kashmir issue.
