Byndoor man killed in bike-truck collision in Kumta

Kumta, 07 Feb 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Mohan Nagappa Kharvi (40), a resident of Byndoor of Udupi district died on the spot after the bike in which he was travelling, collided with a tipper lorry on Divgi NH 66 in the outskirts of the city here on Wednesday, February 6.

According to the reports, Mohan, on Wednesday evening around 5.00 pm was riding his way towards Ankola, when he collided with a tipper lorry that was coming from the opposite direction.

The accident left Mohan dead on the spot and his bike split in two pieces. His body was shifted to Kumta government hospital for post-mortem, which is expected to be handed over to the family later at night, after post-mortem.

A case has been registered at Kumta police station.
